This was my first try at mixing pottery with sculpture. I threw a very thick walled pot (easy for a beginner) and carved out the worms. This was straight subtractive sculpting. I later made a mug and added the worms. I'm not sure which was harder. I like the pot better. The colors are all done with glazes (Tomato Red and Tenmoku).
