I had thrown a nice rounded bowl. Absentmindedly, I whacked the rim. Argh!
Faced with having to cut the rim or throw it out, I decided to conceal the mistake by adding more ripples to the rim. It worked perfectly, except that I just told you about it.
The glaze on the outside is Temmoku, and is almost too thick, but I like it black. On the inside is a cobalt blue. The inside is really nice and deep blue, but I will have to work on my photography to get a really good picture of it.
